About Us

CSAL Elementary School of Excellence will utilize Tier 1 curriculum to ensure that all students are receiving high quality and rigorously instruction. Also, we believe in developing a positive relationship between teachers and the students is crucial in order to ensure that every student is growing socially, emotionally, behaviorally, and academically. Educating the whole child is an essential component as well, which is not just about improving the students’ academic performances, but also contribute to their overall development. This approach aims to provide students with the assistance and structure for attaining long-term success in all areas of their life.

‍Behavioral Approach
School-wide PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) is a process for creating safer and more effective schools. SW-PBIS is a systems approach to enhance the capacity of schools to educate all children by developing research-based, school wide, and classroom discipline systems. The process focuses on improving a school’s ability to teach and support positive behavior for all students. Rather than a prescribed program, SW-PBIS provides systems for schools to design, implement, and evaluate effective school-wide, classroom, non-classroom, and student specific discipline plans.
