Harvest Commons School has student and parent-led clubs that take place after school; these clubs are based on student interests from year-to-year.

Rooted in a Reggio-inspired, project-based approach, students don’t just learn about concepts—they experience them through meaningful work in the garden, interactions with goats, chickens, and guinea pigs, and deep exploration of integrated academic themes. Our small, intentionally designed community allows educators to truly know each child and tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs, while fostering strong relationships and a sense of belonging. Through intentional partnerships with community organizations, including Southern University, students gain access to enriched learning opportunities that connect classroom learning to real-world expertise.
